Armenia–Russia trade falls 38% in 2025
26 February 2026 20:51
Trade turnover between Armenia and Russia declined sharply in 2025, falling by approximately 38.3% year-on-year to around $7.7 billion, according to Armenia’s annual report on the implementation of the government’s 2025 programme.
The report highlights a significant contraction in bilateral trade compared with 2024, Caliber.Az reports per Armenian media.
Despite the drop in trade turnover, high-level political contacts remained active throughout the year. The document states that Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Russian President Vladimir Putin held four in-person meetings and five telephone conversations in 2025.
