Armenia to maintain calm relations with Russia, Pashinyan says
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said that Yerevan will continue to build relations with Russia calmly, without tension, and with patience in addressing all issues.
As Caliber.Az reports, citing Armenian media, he said: “Our strategy remains unchanged. We will work with our Russian partners calmly, without nerves, with patience, and resolve all issues.”
At the same time, he stressed that Armenia will not have any issue without an alternative, noting a course toward diversifying its foreign and economic relations.
According to Pashinyan, equipment from seven countries was presented at a recent military parade, which he said demonstrates expanding international cooperation in the defence sector. He also stated that developed countries are already signing multi-million-dollar contracts with Armenia’s military-industrial complex, adding that the country has significant scientific potential.
“We have no intention of withdrawing from the EAEU; on the contrary, we intend to fully utilize all available mechanisms within the bloc to safeguard Armenia’s economic interests,” Pashinyan stated.
