Armenia to register TRIPP Company to implement “Trump Route” project, PM says
A joint Armenian-American enterprise, TRIPP Company, will be registered in Armenia to implement the project “Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity” (TRIPP).
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan made the announcement during his speech at the German Council on Foreign Relations, according to the government’s press service, Caliber.Az reports, citing Armenian media.
“In Armenia, an Armenian-American joint venture, TRIPP Company, will be registered, which will receive the right to develop the necessary infrastructure for railways, highways, oil and gas pipelines, as well as fibre-optic cables,” Pashinyan said.
He added that practical implementation and construction will begin next year.
Pashinyan noted that the “Trump Route” project, along with transport communication between Armenia and Türkiye, could become an important component of the Middle Corridor, ensuring uninterrupted connectivity between Europe, the South Caucasus, and Central Asia.
