Armenian FM, US Assistant Secretary of State discuss regional issues

Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and US Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Karen Donfried have discussed regional security and stability issues.

During a telephone conversation, the sides exchanged views on the settlement of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan, as well as discussed the Karabakh conflict, Sputnik Армения reports , citing the Armenian Foreign Ministry.

The readiness of the US to support the peace process in the South Caucasus was stressed during the phone call.

The sides also touched upon the process of border delimitation and security between Armenia and Azerbaijan, as well as the unblocking of regional transport infrastructures.
