Armenian FM views talks with Azerbaijani, Turkish counterparts as positive step forward
Ararat Mirzoyan, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, expressed his satisfaction with the recent meetings he held in Antalya with his Azerbaijani and Turkish counterparts, Jeyhun Bayramov and Hakan Fidan.
Mirzoyan shared his thoughts during a press conference with his Slovenian counterpart in Yerevan on April 16, Caliber.Az reports via Armenian media.
Mirzoyan clarified that while he would not claim that the meetings led to any final agreements, he acknowledged their value in facilitating better understanding between the parties involved.
“I wouldn’t say that any definitive agreements were reached as a result of these meetings,” Mirzoyan stated. “However, I cannot deny that the meetings help the parties better understand each other. This, without a doubt, is effective for the broader process. So, I view these contacts as positive,” he added.
