Armenian, Georgian premiers hail strategic level of bilateral relations
The Prime Ministers of Armenia and Georgia - Nikol Pashinyan and Irakli Garibashvili - noted the strategic level of bilateral relations at a meeting in Tbilisi.
The prime ministers discussed the upcoming session of the Armenian-Georgian intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation, as well as issues on the bilateral agenda, Caliber.Az reports citing Armenian media.
The interlocutors expressed hope that the session will become an impetus for deepening relations in all spheres.
The heads of government also emphasized the importance of expanding trade and economic ties.
The sides exchanged views on the processes taking place in the region. The interlocutors noted the need for consistent steps towards peace and stability.
As it has been reported, the delegation headed by the Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is in Tbilisi on a working visit. The 13th session of the Armenian-Georgian Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation will be held on January 26. The previous one was held in January 2023 in Yerevan.
