Russia says 39 Ukrainian drones downed overnight across several regions

Russian air defence systems destroyed 39 Ukrainian fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) during the night of June 27, according to a statement issued by Russia’s Defence Ministry.

According to the ministry, 19 drones were shot down over the Rostov region, followed by 13 over the Volgograd Region. Additionally, four more were destroyed over Crimea, while one drone each was intercepted over the territories of Belgorod, Bryansk, and Samara Regions, Caliber.Az reports.

The ministry has not reported any casualties or damage resulting from the attempted drone incursions.
