Armenian opposition postpones rally in Yerevan due to abnormal heat
The Armenian opposition has postponed its regular rally in Yerevan from July 21 to July 29 due to abnormal heat.
This was announced by one of the opposition leaders Ishkhan Saghatelyan, Caliber.Az reports with reference to the Armenian media.
“A number of partners and citizens proposed to reschedule the rally scheduled for July 21, taking into account the unprecedented hot weather expected in the coming days. We discussed this proposal and decided to postpone the rally to next Friday, July 29,” Saghatelyan wrote on Facebook.
At the same time, he added that the organizers of the protest actions continue their organizational work aimed at expanding the opposition movement, and are closely following all political events. “If there is an urgent need to gather, we will immediately inform you about this,” Saghatelyan stressed.
