28 March 2026 13:45
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sought to reassure citizens about the country’s ties with the Russian Federation during a pre-election meeting with residents of Yerevan.
A participant at the meeting raised concerns about a potential rift between the two countries. Pashinyan moved quickly to allay those fears, stressing that he would be traveling to Russia soon and that Armenia is maintaining its relations, Caliber.Az reports via Armenian media.
“No, how could that be? I will be travelling to Russia soon; we are maintaining our ties,” the prime minister said.
He also described the Russian Federation as a friendly country.
