Armenian soldier found dead with suicide note

An Armenian soldier who was found dead at a farm had left a note, Armenian media reports.

According to Caliber.Az, the body of 23-year-old Artak H. was discovered in a barn by a relative. A note was found nearby, reading: “Please forgive me for my actions. I no longer want to live in this world.”

No signs of violence were found on the body, according to media reports.

Earlier, Armenia’s Defence Ministry confirmed the soldier’s death, saying the incident had occurred outside a military unit.

According to the ministry, the serviceman was found dead on the grounds of a farm.

The report noted that cases of suicide in the Armenian army have increased in recent times.
