Around 80,000 left without heat in Russia's Belgorod After Ukraine strikes
About 80,000 residents of Belgorod remain without heat following Ukrainian missile strikes on the city, said Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov in a video message posted on his Telegram channel.
Energy workers are continuing to deal with the aftermath of the strikes, Caliber.Az reports, citing Gladkov's Telegram channel.
“Approximately 80,000 people in Belgorod currently remain without heating. Around 3,000 people are without gas, and about 1,000 are without electricity. Electricity will be restored for the 1,000 people within the next one and a half hours,” Gladkov said.
Gas supply is expected to be restored soon in three apartment buildings. The main issue remains heating, which authorities plan to restore by noon.
Twelve warming centres have been set up in the city for residents.
