Around hundred people to be relocated due to drone attack in Rostov-on-Don

Rostov Region Governor Vasily Golubev has said that 99 residents of the three drone-hit houses on Pushkinskaya Street in the centre of Rostov-on-Don will be relocated to temporary public housing.

During this time, the apartments will be checked. A state of emergency is being introduced in the area where the drone fell on September 7.

"By decision of the Rostov City Emergency Committee on the site of the fall of the UAV in the boundaries of houses on Pushkinskaya St., 39,41,42, the emergency mode is introduced from 09:00. Some 99 people live in these three houses. Food will be organised for them. The city authorities offered the residents accommodation in the temporary public housing", Golubev wrote on his Telegram channel.

After apartment rounds and damage analysis, the amount of compensation payments will be established for the residents of the affected houses.

The mayor of Rostov-on-Don Alexei Logvinenko said that the issue of the introduction of emergency situation mode at the addresses: Stabilnaya St., 3, Koblova St., 4 and Volnistaya St. 25/7 "due to the lack of electricity and violation of living conditions" for more than 3 thousand people is under consideration. This is in the west of the city. The Governor reported that another UAV fell there.

On the night of September 7, six drones were shot down in three Russian regions. Two fell in Rostov-on-Don, one in the centre of the city. Three more were shot down in the Bryansk region, and one in the Moscow region. Domodedovo, Vnukovo and Zhukovsky imposed flight restrictions because of the drones. In Ramenskoye, windows in several apartments of a high-rise building were blown out, Russian media writes.
