ASTRA: Drone strike damages residential building in Moscow PHOTO / VIDEO

A drone attack targeted Moscow on the evening of May 3, with residents reporting an explosion at a high-rise residential building in the city.

According to preliminary accounts, the building at 8 Mosfilmovskaya Street sustained damage, though there has been no official confirmation from authorities. The incident affected the residential complex known as Dom na Mosfilmovskaya, located roughly six kilometres from the Kremlin.

The open-source intelligence project ASTRA said its analysis suggests the damage may have been caused by a drone strike. Videos circulating on social media, purportedly from the scene, show visible destruction, with eyewitnesses describing the aftermath as severe.

Separately, residents in the nearby settlement of Drozhzhino reported seeing a drone flying over the area around the time of the incident.
