Ukrainian drones struck multi-storey residential buildings in Krasnodar, Russia, overnight on March 18, killing one person, Krasnodar Region Governor Veniamin Kondratyev confirmed.
Krasnodar Mayor Yevgeny Naumov also said that a resident of the city was killed after a Ukrainian drone struck his apartment, ASTRA Telegram channel reports.

“In the Prikubansky intracity district of Krasnodar, an enemy UAV damaged an apartment in a multi-storey building, causing a fire, which has since been extinguished. The resident of that apartment, unfortunately, died. I extend my sincere condolences to the family and loved ones. Emergency and special services, my deputy, the district head, and relevant agencies are working at the scene.
I am receiving operational updates from colleagues and keeping the situation under personal control. The area inspection is ongoing. In the same district, drone debris was found in the courtyard of another residential building. In the Western intracity district, UAV fragments were discovered on a balcony, but no damage to infrastructure or casualties were reported at those addresses. All necessary services are also working at the scene,” the mayor added.
