Azerbaijan approves MoU on political consultations with Iraq

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has approved the "Memorandum of Understanding on Political Consultations between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iraq".

After the Memorandum enters into force, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been instructed to ensure the implementation of its provisions, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Azerbaijani president’s press service.

The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry is also tasked to send a notification to the Iraqi Foreign Ministry on the fulfilment of internal procedures necessary for the entry into force of this Memorandum.
