Azerbaijan, EU to expand satellite launching cooperation PHOTO

Chairman of the board of the Space Agency under the Azerbaijani Ministry of Digital Development and Transport (Azercosmos) Samaddin Asadov has said that Azercosmos is interested in expanding cooperation with the EU member states to launch Azerbaijani satellites into orbit.

Asadov made the remarks at a meeting with Ambassador of the European Union Delegation to Azerbaijan Peter Michalko, Report informs citing the ministry.

The views on issues of mutual interest, including the further expansion of ties with European countries in space technologies, the process of learning the best practices were exchanged during the meeting.

Asadov also stressed the European partners’ role in launching Azerbaijani satellites into orbit.

In turn, Michalko expressed gratification with the current level of relations between the European Union and Azerbaijan.
