Azerbaijan, European Investment Bank mull joint projects

Azerbaijani Economy Minister Mikail Jabbarov and the head of the regional office of the European Investment Bank (EIB) in the South Caucasus, Maciej Chura have met to discuss joint projects.

At the meeting, the bank's financing mechanisms were touched upon, and views were exchanged on expanding the partnership, Caliber.Az quotes the minister as saying on his Twitter account.

The parties discussed the development of cooperation with the EIB, potential projects, financing of alternative energy sources, the private sector, especially small and medium-sized businesses, as well as opportunities for cooperation with the Entrepreneurship Development Fund.
