Azerbaijan eyes installing new customs posts with Georgia, Russia

Vugar Ahmadov, the State Customs Committee (SCC) department head, has said that Azerbaijan has prepared a project on the creation of new customs posts on the border with Georgia and Russia.

He made the remarks at the event "Consultations with stakeholders on non-tariff barriers to trade and rules of trade in services" organized by the International Trade Center together with the Agency for Promotion of Export and Investment (AZPROMO), Report informs.

He noted that projects are being implemented to increase transit potential: "In general, work is being done to facilitate both exports and imports".
