Azerbaijan, Pakistan discuss prospects of partnering in financial-banking sector PHOTO

Azerbaijan and Pakistan have discussed possibilities of partnering up in the financial-banking sector.

As Caliber.Az reports, the Head of the Azerbaijani Central Bank, Taleh Kazimov, has stated this on his Twitter account.

"Today we have held a meeting with the honorary Ambassador of Pakistan to Azerbaijan, Bilal Hayee and the Head of the Pakistan National Bank’s Baku branch (in the process of being liquidated), Sheikh Ahsham Ahmad. During the meeting we expressed our gratitude for the bank’s 10-year operation in Azerbaijan, as well as discussing the possibilities of a future partnership between Pakistan and Azerbaijan in the financial-banking sector", he wrote.
