Azerbaijan’s exports to Türkiye surplus $5 billion

The State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan has said that in 2023, trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Türkiye increased by 31 per cent or $1 billion 808 million in annual comparison and amounted to $7 billion 650 million.

Compared to 2022, last year, exports from Azerbaijan to Türkiye increased by 51.2 per cent or by $1 billion 814 million to $5 billion 359.3 million, while exports from Türkiye to Azerbaijan decreased by 0.3 per cent or by $6.1 million and amounted to $2 billion 291 million, APA reports citing the committee.

During the reporting period, non-oil products worth $783 million 861 thousand were exported from Azerbaijan to Türkiye, which is 9.9 per cent more than in 2022.

In 2023, Azerbaijan's total trade turnover amounted to $51 billion 183 million, and non-oil exports amounted to $3.3 billion.
