Azerbaijan supports global efforts on good health for all, says President Aliyev

Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev made a publication on the occasion of April 7 - World Health Day.

"Azerbaijan attaches great importance to the implementation of the UN Sustainable Development Goal 3 on good health for all and is taking consistent and result-oriented action at the national level," the president said in a statement posted on his Twitter account, per Caliber.Az.

"With the support from the WHO [World Health Organisation], the Non-Aligned Movement chaired by Azerbaijan has demonstrated global leadership in combatting the COVID-19 pandemic.

"We highly appreciate the work of Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, WHO Director-General. Azerbaijan will further continue its efficient cooperation with the Organisation."
