Azerbaijan to host National Archery Championship and Tournament
The National Archery Championship and Tournament will be held in Azerbaijan’s capital Baku.
Over 50 professional archers from various Azerbaijani districts will compete for the championship title, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.
The event will feature three categories: juniors under 16 (30 metres), 16-18 years old (60 metres), and adults (70 metres).
The tournament will begin with training sessions on August 23, followed by the opening ceremony and qualification rounds on August 24. The competition will continue from the quarter-finals to the finals on August 25, culminating in the awards ceremony.
The three-day event will start daily at 10:00 (GMT+4) at the National Seaside Park. This championship aims to identify the country's top archers and promote the development and preservation of the ancient art of archery.
