Real Madrid breaks global sports revenue record with €1.22 billion turnover

Real Madrid CF has become the first sports organisation in history to surpass €1 billion in annual revenue, reporting record financial results for the 2025/26 season.

The Spanish football club generated €1.221 billion in revenue, representing a 3.1% increase compared with the previous year, according to figures released by the club.

Real Madrid said the record-breaking income marked the highest ever revenue achieved by a sports club worldwide, reflecting continued commercial growth and strong financial performance.

The club’s earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) also reached a historic high of €287.4 million, up 18% year on year.
