Azerbaijan to open direct Baku-Mumbai flight

Negotiations are underway between Azerbaijan and India on opening a direct Baku-Mumbai flight.

This was announced at the B2B meeting dedicated to the tourism opportunities of the two countries, Report informs.

From August 9, Azerbaijan Airlines CJSC (AZAL) will start operating flights from Baku to New Delhi (India). Flights from the capital of Azerbaijan to New Delhi will be operated weekly on Tuesdays and Fridays, and in the opposite direction - on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

In this context, AZAL's partner is the Indian company Zeal Global Group.
