Azerbaijan, Türkiye strengthen defence ties

Azerbaijani presidential aide Khalid Ahadov is on a visit to Türkiye, where he met with the country's National Defence Minister Yashar Güler.

The parties discussed bilateral cooperation in the defence sector, Report informs citing the Turkish Ministry of National Defence.

Güler noted that Türkiye will continue to share its experience in the field of defence with Azerbaijan.

"There is an unshakable spirit of solidarity between our countries, with ties of eternal brotherhood rather than relations between two separate countries. We will continue on this path we have followed within 'two states, one nation' motto," he said.
