Azerbaijan naval forces conduct comprehensive shipboard training PHOTO/VIDEO
As part of this year’s training plan, the Azerbaijan Naval Forces conducted intensive drills focused on anti-submarine sabotage defence and ship sustainability at anchorage.
The training aimed to equip naval personnel with the skills to effectively organize shipboard anti-submarine sabotage measures and to assess the vessel’s readiness to maintain operational integrity during emergencies while anchored, Caliber.Az reports per the Defence Ministry.
Exercises included practical drills on fire preparedness at anchorage, first aid procedures for injured personnel, and safe evacuation protocols.
The crew also demonstrated the coordinated response of rescue teams in maintaining ship stability and implementing firefighting techniques tailored to different types and locations of onboard fires.
The training concluded successfully, with instructors praising the high level of professionalism and readiness displayed by the personnel.
