Azerbaijani Air Force join Anatolian Phoenix-2024 drills in Türkiye PHOTO/VIDEO

International search and rescue exercise Anatolian Phoenix-2024 is being held in the city of Konya, Republic of Türkiye.

At the preliminary stage, the participants of the exercise were given a briefing, Caliber.Az informs citing Türkiye’s Ministry of Defence.

The briefing provided details about the purpose, scenario, location of the exercise, tasks to be carried out at various stages and safety rules.

Azerbaijan is represented in the exercise with the participation of servicemen from different countries by a group of personnel from the parachute and search and rescue services of the Air Force, aviation means, as well as special forces of the Navy.

The exercise Anatolian Phoenix-2024 will last until May 17.
