It was noted that mutual visits and contacts within the framework of international events have made a tangible contribution to the discussion of cooperation issues, and the necessity of further development was emphasized.
It was also highlighted that holding the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29) in Azerbaijan this year makes the prospects of cooperation in combating climate change relevant. The possibilities of cooperation within regional and international organizations, as well as relations with the European Union, were discussed in detail at the meeting.
Jeyhun Bayramov provided detailed information about the current regional situation, new realities, the normalization process between Azerbaijan and Armenia, and the persisting mine threat in Azerbaijan. He stated that Armenia's policy of militarization threatens the peace agenda. Bayramov added that despite significant progress on the peace agreement, the Armenian constitution still contains territorial claims to Azerbaijan, which is an obstacle to the establishment of lasting peace.
