Azerbaijan-Türkiye brotherhood to grow stronger, ambassador says

Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Birol Akgun has reaffirmed that the close and brotherly ties between Azerbaijan and Türkiye will continue to deepen.

Akgun made the remarks during a ceremony in Baku marking Victory Day in Türkiye, which included a visit to the memorial for Turkish soldier-martyrs, Caliber.Az reports per local media.

The ceremony was attended by Akgun, representatives of the Turkish Embassy, and a number of Azerbaijani and Turkish officials.

The ceremony began with the laying of a wreath at the memorial, followed by the national anthems of Azerbaijan and Türkiye.

Akgun paid tribute to the memory of the martyrs and emphasized the enduring strength of the brotherly relations between the two countries.

The ambassador stressed that bilateral ties will continue to strengthen in the future.
