Azerbaijan, Belarus step up diplomatic cooperation
Azerbaijan and Belarus have reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening cooperation between their foreign ministries, with senior officials highlighting the positive momentum in bilateral relations, the Belarusian Foreign Ministry said.
Azerbaijan’s Deputy Foreign Minister Samir Sharifov and Belarusian Foreign Minister Maxim Ryzhenkov discussed prospects for further intensifying institutional cooperation during a meeting, Caliber.Az reports per local media.
The sides positively assessed the growing pace of Belarusian-Azerbaijani dialogue at the highest level, as well as the friendly and constructive nature of relations between the two countries.
“The interlocutors positively assessed the strong momentum of Belarusian-Azerbaijani dialogue at the highest level, the friendly and constructive nature of interstate relations, as well as the results achieved in trade, economic and humanitarian cooperation. The sides confirmed their interest in further intensifying interaction between the foreign ministries of the two countries,” the ministry said.
