Azerbaijani foreign minister meets outgoing Iranian ambassador Affirms strengthening bilateral ties
Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov received Iranian Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Seyyed Abbas Mousavi on April 20 on the occasion of the completion of his diplomatic activity in Azerbaijan.
The Foreign Ministry informed Caliber.Az that at the meeting, the sides expressed satisfaction that friendly ties and cooperation between the two states are developing based on mutual respect. It was emphasized that important steps are being taken to develop relations in political, trade-economic, and other fields.
Jeyhun Bayramov noted the development of ties between Azerbaijan and Iran in regional and multilateral planes and the efficiency of such regional formats as 3+3.
Ambassador Seyyed Abbas Mousavi thanked for the support provided to him during his diplomatic activity. He noted that during his tenure as ambassador, all opportunities were mobilized for the development of bilateral relations, and expressed confidence that the new ambassador will also make maximum efforts for the further development of relations.
