Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with Azar Bayramov, Director General of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Labor Centre, to review ongoing preparations for the upcoming OIC summit set to take place in Azerbaijan next year.
The sides discussed the Labor Centre's current activities, key issues on the OIC-Azerbaijan cooperation agenda, and strategic planning for the forthcoming summit, Azerbaijan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs told Caliber.Az.
FM Bayramov praised Azerbaijan’s strong and productive partnership with the OIC, emphasising the importance of the organisation’s role in fostering solidarity among member states. He also underscored the significance of the Labor Centre, which was established during the 5th Conference of OIC Labor Ministers held in Baku, as a platform to deepen collaboration within the organisation.
Both parties voiced confidence that the Labor Centre’s initiatives would enhance cooperation among OIC member states in key areas such as labor, employment, social protection, and human capital development.
