Azerbaijan’s military leadership reviews troop readiness under presidential orders photo
On the orders of Azerbaijani President and Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, the leadership of the Ministry of Defence conducted an inspection of the provision and combat readiness of Azerbaijani Army units.
The Azerbaijani Defence Ministry told Caliber.Az that military leadership visited commando units and other military formations, reviewing measures taken to improve the social and living conditions of servicemen and the organisation of military service.
During the inspection of field conditions, Defence Minister Colonel General Zakir Hasanov issued additional directives focused on winter preparation, further enhancement of combat efficiency, seasonal maintenance of weapons and equipment, and ensuring the uninterrupted supply of all necessary resources.
Highly appreciating the combat readiness and morale of the personnel, Hasanov met with servicemen to discuss issues of interest to them. He also instructed officials to strictly enforce discipline and safety rules while remaining attentive to the health and well-being of all personnel.
