Azerbaijani foreign minister to join “3+3” meeting in Iran
23 October 2023 11:01
Spokesman for the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry Aykhan Hajizada has said that Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov will take part in the “3+3” meeting (Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, Iran, Russia, Türkiye), to be held in Iran’s capital Tehran.
“Bayramov will leave for Iran on October 23,” Hajizada said in response to a request from Report news agency.
The Georgian Foreign Ministry has officially confirmed that Tbilisi will not participate in the “3+3” meeting in Tehran. The first “3+3” meeting was held in Moscow in 2022 without Georgia.
The regional cooperation issues related to politics, economics, transport, security, and energy will be discussed at a meeting in Tehran.
