Azerbaijani mine agency chief mulls expanding co-op with Vietnamese reps

Chairman of the Board of the Azerbaijani Mine Action Agency (ANAMA) Vugar Suleymanov met with representatives of the Vietnamese Mine Action Centre during his visit to Vietnam.

As ANAMA informed Caliber.Az, the meetings focused on exchanging experience in combating the mine threat and highlighted the necessity of developing cooperation between Azerbaijan and Vietnam in this field.

The ANAMA delegation briefed their counterparts on Azerbaijan's challenges with mines and unexploded ordnance, the efforts to address this problem, the methods employed, and the ongoing humanitarian demining exercises.
