Azerbaijani wrestlers to join Freestyle World Cup in US

Azerbaijani wrestlers Zhala Aliyeva (57 kg) and Osman Nurmagomedov (92 kg) will attend the Freestyle World Cup to be held on December 10-11, in the US.

They will compete for the world’s national teams, Caliber.Az reports citing azerisport.com.

Aliyeva's team will compete with the Chinese and the US national teams in group B. The teams from Japan, Ukraine and Mongolia will compete in Group A.

Nurmagomedov's team will compete with Japanese and Iranian teams in Group B. The teams from the US, Georgia and Mongolia will compete in Group A.

The group stage matches will be held on December 10, while the final and the match for third place will be held on December 11.
