Russia to release coin marking first Chechen president's 75th birthday
The Bank of Russia will release a commemorative silver coin dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the birth of Akhmad-Haji Abdulkhamidovich Kadyrov, the first president of the Chechen Republic, on July 14.
According to a press release issued by the regulator, the 2-ruble coin will be part of the "Outstanding Figures of Russia" series, Caliber.Az reports.
The silver coin has a diameter of 33 mm and contains 15.55 grams of pure silver with a fineness of 925.

It features a raised rim on both sides and is produced in proof quality.
The total mintage will be limited to 3,000 pieces.
The reverse side of the coin features a relief portrait of Akhmad Kadyrov and an image of the city of Grozny against a laser-matted depiction of the Caucasus Mountains.
The inscription "Akhmad-Haji Abdulkhamidovich Kadyrov" appears along the lower edge, while the years "1951" and "2004" are displayed on the left and right sides respectively.
The coin's edge is reeded.
The Bank of Russia noted that all commemorative coins issued by the regulator are legal tender in the Russian Federation and must be accepted at face value for all types of payments without restrictions.
