Beijing hails Baku’s readiness to bolster tourism ties with China with visa-free regime
Azerbaijan and China express their readiness to strengthen cooperation in the tourism sector and promote the common development of tourism.
This initiative is highlighted in the "Joint Declaration on Establishment of Strategic Partnership between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the People's Republic of China," adopted on 3 July, according to Caliber.Az.
China welcomes Azerbaijan's participation in the annual China International Tourism Fair and other tourism exhibitions. Additionally, China supports Azerbaijan's decision to unilaterally apply a visa-free regime for one year to Chinese citizens to develop tourism and further expand economic, humanitarian, and cultural ties.
"The sides will further promote the facilitation of mutual traveling of citizens," the document reads.
