Modi’s fascist regime wants endless conflict, says South Caucasus expert on SCO row
Farhad Mammadov, political analyst and head of the South Caucasus Research Centre, has sharply criticized India’s decision to block Azerbaijan’s application for full membership in the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO).
Posting on his Telegram channel, Mammadov delivered a pointed rebuke of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government, Caliber.Az reports.
“Azerbaijan and Armenia have not become full SCO members and remain at the level of dialogue partners due to India’s position.
This conclusion can be drawn after reviewing the Azerbaijani President’s statement that India is taking revenge on Azerbaijan in international forums.
India blocks Azerbaijan, Pakistan blocks Armenia in the SCO.
However, Azerbaijan and Pakistan have demonstrated a constructive approach, which resulted in Armenia and Pakistan establishing diplomatic relations.
It seems India does not accept a peace agenda, and the fascist regime of Modi, who lost the war with Pakistan, wishes to see continued conflict.
This is now the second time that India, through its actions, has blocked China’s initiatives to expand organizations and enhance the effectiveness of international structures.
The most important thing for Azerbaijan is that this has not led to a deterioration in relations with Armenia — and that is a positive outcome.”
