Azerbaijan completes military training exercises for reservists PHOTO
Training exercises involving reservists have been completed in Azerbaijan as part of the country’s 2026 military training plan, the Ministry of Defence said in a press release, quoted by Caliber.Az.
The drills were conducted at an unspecified military unit of the special forces and involved a group of reservists. According to the ministry, the exercises were designed to enhance participants’ combat skills and overall readiness.
Officials speaking at the closing event said the training had successfully improved the reservists’ capabilities and confirmed that all assigned objectives were achieved.
Under the program, participants underwent a range of training activities, including firearms instruction, tactical exercises, drill training, physical conditioning, and socio-political education. They also took part in both theoretical and practical classes across various military specialities, alongside discussions focused on patriotic themes.
At the conclusion of the exercises, participants were wished success in their further service. Reservists who distinguished themselves during the training were awarded certificates of honour.
