Azerbaijan, Iraq advance talks on stronger financial, banking collaboration

Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to Iraq, Eldar Salimov, has met with the Governor of the Central Bank of Iraq, Ali Mohsen Al-Alaq, to discuss prospects for cooperation in the financial and banking sectors.

Writing on X, the diplomat noted that the talks focused on potential cooperation between the central banks of the two countries, as well as issues related to the development of their financial and banking systems.

The sides also exchanged views on other matters of mutual interest.
