Berlin to reassess relations with Georgia amid new foreign agents law

Berlin will reconsider its relations with Tbilisi in light of the newly adopted law on foreign agents and the country's overall direction.

"As for Germany, we are also reviewing our relations with Georgia. As you know, we have extensive and deep relations. Together with the United States of America, we are one of Georgia's biggest donors of development cooperation," Caliber.Az reports, citing Georgian media that German Ambassador to Tbilisi Peter Fischer said.

He emphasized that Berlin has decided not to make any new commitments towards Georgia.
