Cathay Pacific extends suspension of flights to Dubai, Riyadh
Hong Kong-based airline Cathay Pacific announced on March 24 that it is extending the suspension of its flights to and from Dubai and Riyadh until May 31 due to the ongoing war in the Middle East, Le Figaro reports.
In two separate statements, Cathay Pacific said that all flights to and from Riyadh and Dubai are cancelled until May 31, 2026, “given the current situation in the Middle East.”
The airline added that affected customers have been notified and that it is “closely monitoring the situation and will remain flexible.” Customers wishing to change their flights to or from the Middle East will not be charged booking, rerouting, or refund fees.
Cathay also announced on March 24 that it will strengthen connections between Hong Kong and Paris, as well as Zurich, “to meet sharply increased demand in Europe.”
