Civilian wounded in drone attack on Russia’s Belgorod region

A civilian was wounded in a drone attack in the Volokonovsky district of Russia’s Belgorod region after an unmanned aerial vehicle dropped an explosive device on a residential area.

The incident took place in the village of Konovalovo, according to regional governor Vyacheslav Gladkov.

Local authorities reported that the man sustained non-penetrating shrapnel injuries to his face, neck, and legs, as well as barotrauma.

He was evacuated from the scene by members of the BARS-Belgorod unit and handed over to an ambulance crew.

The victim was then transported to the Valuyki Central District Hospital, where he is currently receiving the necessary medical treatment.
