Moscow: “Coalition of the Willing” seeks continuation of war, not peace

The so-called “Coalition of the Willing” is interested in prolonging the conflict rather than achieving peace and is actively encouraging the continuation of hostilities, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters.

Peskov also argued that the group of countries is operating under what he described as a profound misconception regarding the possibility of inflicting a strategic defeat on Russia.

“Therefore, it is a coalition of those who are mistaken and a coalition that is inciting war,” he said.

The Kremlin spokesman added that Moscow would closely monitor developments from the Coalition of the Willing’s meeting, given the position adopted by the countries participating in the group.
