Collective Security Treaty Organisation (CSTO) forces will hold joint military exercises in Kazakhstan in 2026.
The exercises will also take place on the territory of Russia and Belarus, Kazakh media reports, citing the Russian Ministry of Defence.
“Delegations of the General Staffs of CSTO member states paid special attention to issues related to the organisation of joint operational and combat training, taking into account the specifics of modern armed conflicts,” the post said.
The main activities will include joint drills aimed at practicing coordination between the armed forces of the organisation’s member states.
