Defence plant, oil depot attacked in Russia’s Azov PHOTO/VIDEO

Ukrainian monitoring channels have reported an attack on the Azov Optical-Mechanical Plant in the southern Russian city of Azov, in the Rostov region. 

The Azov Optical-Mechanical Plant JSC is a defence-industrial enterprise specialising in the production of optoelectronic, radar, and other high-precision systems. The facility is part of Russia’s defence manufacturing sector, Caliber.Az reports per Ukrainian media.

The monitoring sources also reported that an oil depot in Azov may have been targeted during the attack. However, there was no immediate official confirmation of damage to the fuel storage facility or the reported strike.
