Deputy defence chief inspects military units in Kalbajar, Lachin PHOTO/VIDEO

Azerbaijani Deputy Defence Minister, Chief of the General Staff of the Azerbaijan Army, Col-Gen Karim Valiyev, along with top brass, has inspected the combat readiness of military units stationed in Kalbajar and Lachin districts.

Valiyev heard the reports on the operational situation and the organization of the combat duty and gave relevant instructions to immediately and decisively suppress possible provocations, Caliber.Az reports citing the ministry.

He set instructions on increasing the intensity of exercises and training, as well as improving skills in managing units to maintain the combat capability at a high level.
