Deputy FM: Russia has sufficient tools for military response
Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov has said that Moscow has all the necessary resources to respond militarily to a situation that is gradually escalating into confrontation.
Ryabkov warned against the dangerous illusion of "strategic victory" over Russia, Caliber.Az reports via Russian media.
He emphasised, "A nuclear power cannot be defeated."
At the same time, Ryabkov stressed that Moscow does not believe in waiting for time to hold discussions.
"Stronger measures must be taken for our viewpoint to be heard," he said, commenting on the launch of the "Oreshnik" ballistic missile.
Earlier, Ryabkov stated that the moment when the US and NATO are fully recognized as participants in the conflict in Ukraine is approaching.
"The moment is near when there will be no other option," he said.
