Russia is making a significant contribution to strengthening the energy security of Kyrgyzstan, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin stated.
Speaking at a meeting with Kyrgyz Cabinet Chairman Adylbek Kasymaliev on the sidelines of the international industrial exhibition “INNOPROM,” Mishustin said Russia is also discussing the development of nuclear power generation in Kyrgyzstan and actively cooperating in renewable energy projects.
“We are also discussing the creation of nuclear generation, actively working in the field of renewable energy, and building solar power plants in the Issyk-Kul region,” he said.
Kasymaliev, in turn, said Kyrgyzstan expects to launch new joint projects with Russia and further strengthen bilateral cooperation.
